"Landscapes of Sincerity" gathers select art works by Lila Zur (NYC, 1936 –  Jerusalem, 2025)  made over a period of roughly 50 years. Born to a poor family in New York City, even as a child she loved to draw but she was discouraged from practicing art. 

Beginning in her forties and for over fifty years thereafter, Zur sketched, etched, drew, and painted in oils and watercolor. But she refused the spotlight, turning down opportunities to exhibit her work and insisting that she was not an artist. After she passed away in December 2025, her family, art teachers, and close friends gathered to curate this exhibit that showcases the breadth, diversity, and depth of her work, as well as her appreciation of light and color.
