The Jerusalem Theatre presents Jerusalem schools of painting that emerged over time. This is the second exhibition in the series, featuring Leonid Balaklav and twenty of his students.

Balaklav (b. 1956, Belz; immigrated to Israel in 1990) is an award-winning artist who has been teaching in Jerusalem for many years. His oil paintings are allusive and emotive. The layers of color in its various hues play on light and shadow.
