"This exhibit portrays a year of raw emotion, distilled into unbearable moments of intense grief. It is a timeline of movement from darkness to light, capturing photons in the deepest and darkest of moments; a timeline that defies time and experience, defies reality. In this process of interpreting experiences that I could not register or make sense of, at times I was seeing, but not understanding their depth. I could not think.  What you see before you are fragments of an incomprehensible reality that my brain could not process, but that my heart could translate into images that were my own. I was processing reality in a new way, from the depths of pain and anguish into this unique form of representation. The photographs tell a story. They are external symbols of internal agony."
