Oshrat Chen: "Chavruta"

The concept of 'chavruta' is well established in Jewish culture and represents shared study. The term originates in Aramaic and means "together".
The exhibition was born out of a marital dialogue – the ongoing study of the Holy Scriptures between the artist and her husband. Through their conversations with these ancient texts, a rich world of characters, narratives, colors, and visions opened, becoming a flowing source of inspiration.
The works presented at the exhibition are not merely a visual interpretation of the writings, but also a direct continuation of that intimate, shared dialogue – a journey in which words encountered color and material, giving rise to new worlds.
