In Jerusalem's Mea She'arim neighborhood, a group of ultra-Orthodox women takes on the community's religious leadership to rescue a friend from an abusive marriage. Their weapon? An ancient but effective form of protest: refusing to visit the Mikveh and abstaining from marital relations until they free their friend from her marriage.

A gripping drama laced with humor, in which female solidarity challenges religious authority. Defying the commandment to "be fruitful and multiply," the women stand firm against ostracism, persecution, and the heavy price of rebellion.
