A contemporary dance work by choreographer Eyal Dadon, winner of the Ministry of Culture and Sports Award for Creativity and of prestigious international awards, in collaboration with artist Tamar Barlev. The dancers strut across the stage within an imagined space of tar – a thick, heavy, movement-hindering material. Every movement becomes a struggle, every step requires strength, and every attempt to extricate oneself only makes one sink deeper. Tar is not just a material but a metaphor for the human condition: physical, emotional, and mental. It envelops and seduces, suffocates and stains, and within it the body continues to move and struggle, leaving inerasable traces.
