Portugal: Turn Left at the End of the World

'City, Art, World' series

A series of morning lectures dedicated to Europe's magical cities
Editor and lecturer: Yoel Sitruk, photographer and investigative journalist

A journey to the shores of the "End of the World" — exploring ancient medieval cities with colorful, picturesque alleys, impressive palaces, a wine region in the Douro Valley, and stunning coastal stretches that showcase Portugal's charm and beauty — a country also famous for its cuisine. This trip traces the land from where four explorers set out into the unknown.

We'll visit the Marrano villages, see cities and towns shrouded in mystery, learn about the miracle at Fatima, roam the alleys of Lisbon, the beautiful capital, and the second-largest city, Porto, and more. A lecture that combines stories, pictures, and delightful Portuguese music.
