Women Take Over the World: Celebrating International Women's Month

'City, Art, World' series

A series of morning lectures dedicated to Europe's magical cities
Editor and lecturer: Yoel Sitruk, photographer and investigative journalist

An inspiring journey across continents, exploring the lives and legacies of remarkable women from Israel and around the world: From Mexican painter Frida Kahlo to Argentine singer Mercedes Sosa; from legendary Egyptian diva Umm Kulthum (Fatima Ibrahim es-Sayyid El-Beltagi) to the dazzling Tunisian-Jewish performer Habiba Msika; from photographer Gail Rubin to Eva (Evita) Perón; from ancient poet Sappho to the unforgettable Edith Piaf — and many more women who shaped culture, art, and history. An evocative performance blending stories, songs, and film clips into a powerful, moving experience.
