Bati, a young woman and mother of three, lives in Jerusalem following a strict routine. Her world is suddenly turned upside down when she receives suspicious photos of her beloved husband, Lazer, in the mail, revealing that he is being blackmailed by a local gang. The revelation sends everyone into a whirlwind of emotions as they struggle to keep their family and love intact, prompting Bati on a journey of awakening, self-discovery, and a search for emotional and feminine freedom.
The play, adapted from a script by Mindy Ehrlich, who grew up in an ultra-Orthodox community in Jerusalem, was also turned into a renowned, award-winning film directed by Nir Bergman. The play introduces a rare ultra-Orthodox female voice to the stage and uncovers the human complexity behind the walls of silence.

- Reviews:"A new, sensitive, and powerful Israeli play offers a spectacular, moving theatrical experience that addresses issues rarely explored on the Israeli stage... Without a doubt, this is one of the most important productions of the Beer Sheva Theatre this year." (The Beersheva and Negev News)"The stage adaptation succeeds in creating such a realistic world... The actors, the wigs, and the costumes will make you forget this is a theatre... The acting is precise and exciting… the direction brilliant." (Spot It)
