After losing her home and job, Blanche goes to her younger sister Stella's house, where her husband Stanley lives, seeking comfort and relief. She is shocked to find they live in a deteriorating, cramped apartment in a poor immigrant neighborhood. She sees Stanley as a rough, unrefined, and violent man, and their clash intensifies into a fierce confrontation, sparking passions and unleashing long-bent secrets that threaten to break her. A new stage adaptation of Tennessee Williams’ timeless piece explores feelings of alienation and otherness in a society where everyone desperately seeks acceptance.
