The Hebrew Theatre
A new Israeli play written and directed by Gadi Tzedaka
Music direction: Jonathan Perlman
Starring Yonit Tobi
The dramatic life story of early twentieth-century poet Rachel comes to the stage for the first time. Few poets have left a mark as powerful and expressive in the hearts of generations of Hebrew speakers as that of Rachel Bluwstein, known to us as "Rachel."
With unveiled emotion, potent words, and heart-wrenching poetry, a moving drama unfolds before our eyes, ears, and hearts. The play presents many of Rachel's poems.
