In the 1950s, a unique musical style developed in Algeria - a blend of Algerian-Arabic music, French musical idioms, and Latino influences. Salim Halali and Enrico Macias were only two musical figures in a line of Jewish artists who revolutionized Algerian popular music. For the first time, on the orchestra's stage, tenor Shimon Sibony will meet the promising young artist Gabriel Ohayon from France.
