The Cameri Theatre

The most popular and successful children's musical in the history of Israeli theater. PERIOD.

A poor miller trying his utmost to have his daughter marry the king proclaims that she can turn simple straw into solid gold. Since the kingdom's treasury is beyond bankruptcy, the king's men lock up the miller's daughter in a dungeon and demand that she turn piles of straw into threads of gold. A little elf comes to her aid for small gifts, but when she has nothing left to give him - he demands her first-born. When the baby is born, the elf agrees to relent only if she can guess his name. Will she?
