Singer Tzachi Seton will meet Israel Prize laureate Nurit Hirsch in a show which is the first in a series. In the future, we'll honor other Israel Prize Laureates who have created popular Hebrew songs, such as Naomi Shemer, Ehud Manor, Sasha Argov, Yossi Banai, and Ha-Gashash Ha-Hahiver. The shows will acquaint the audience with stories about these writers, composers, and singers, whose works have become part and parcel of Israeli music and culture. Among the songs about to be sung in Nurit Hirsch's show: Perakh Ha-Lilakh (The Lilac Flower), Balada Le-Shoter (A Ballad for a Policeman), Ose Shalom Bimromav (He who Makes Peace in Heaven), Ata Li Eretz (You are my Land), Ba-Pardes Leyad Ha-Shoket (In the Orchard by the Trough), Ei-Sham (Somewhere), Yesh Li Yom-Yom Khag (Each Day's a Holyday), Kol Ha-Kavod (Well Done), Le-Khaye Ha'am Ha-Ze (Say Hurray for this People) and more.
