Mr. Mouse's Lover

The Mikro Theatre

A new play about strong passion, biting humor, and the animals that live in our hearts

Playwright: Roy Reshef Maliach | Director: Efim Rinenberg

Cast: Josef Albalak, Gal Israeli, Gabriella Lichman, Sari Azsez, Galit Tzabari and Masha Shmulian

Here's a story about a chicken, a cuckoo, a squirrel, and a cat living in a building somewhere. Animals that all boys and girls know. Or do they? Have you ever asked yourself why they live segregated but together, four females and one male? Did Mr. Mouse really leave at the story's beginning, or did something terrible befall him? Are they hiding forbidden relationships that children are not supposed to know of? And who is The Horse? He's not in the original story. So how is he even related? A dark and wicked comedy for adults, inspired by Leah Goldberg's children's book A Flat to Rent.
