This is a story about a melancholy elephant who dreams of being colorful and special. Having left his friends to fulfill his fantasy, he meets a gorgeous, multi-colored bird that helps him collect colors: the beetle donates red, the grass contributes green, and the flowers provide a variety of other colors. Now he is a happy elephant, colorful and special. But the joy is short-lived. He feels strange, and his friends make fun of him, thinking he is a circus clown. Only then does he understand that the color is not important, and in fact... "What's wrong with the color gray? It is the color of elephants; it suits them well."
