By Ruby Porat Shoval | Directed by Miri Lazar

Davit Gavish and Limor Oved/Limor Shapira
On the eve of the Lebanon War, Katyusha barrages drive away the guests of Michelle's motel. The only ones left are the concierge, deeming he was Mike Brant, a television reporter, a teenager waiting to give birth from unwanted pregnancy, a singer specializing in French chansons, and the motel's owner Michelle, who has a reputation for scavenging metal from the fallen Katyushas.
The motel window overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, but for Michelle, the beautiful view is only a reminder of the dark secret she has been hiding for years, a secret she guards until the pregnant young guest upsets the hotel's fabricated serenity. The pregnancy exposes Michelle's sad secret, her own "Sophie's Choice."
