House Arrest

The Beit Lessin Theater

Elisheva Vogel, an internationally respected left-winger, is suddenly accused of alleged corruption and embezzling. Her proud and loving family comes to her defense, but questions raised by police investigators are left unanswered. All family members formulate their interpretation of the new situation, and the conflicts threaten to break up the family. The end is quite surprising.

Noa Yedlin's best-selling novel won the Sapir Prize and is considered one of the best of the last decade. This fascinating adaptation brings it to the stage for the first time.

Second show for the 2021/22 Theater Subscription Series
