Imagine - A tribute to John Lennon's mythological album

Tamar Aphek hosts Geva Alon

John Lennon's album Imagine, released in 1971, was one of the artist's most significant works, and it marks a peak in the popular music of our time. While the album contains rock songs about peace, love, and the craving for it, it also includes songs alluding to the charged relationship between John Lennon and Paul McCartney at the time. The theme song, Imagine, is performed by many artists, and became a cross-cultural anthem for those who have not lost hope for the possibility to achieve peace and brotherhood between people and nations.

Specially planned for the Black & White Festival, the show features Tamar Aphek and virtuoso musician Geva Alon. You should look out for other surprises as well. Aphek and Alon will be disassembling and reassembling the album and sail to imaginary districts inspired by Lennon.
