Things I Know to Be True
Beit Lessin Theater, in cooperation with Haifa Theater
A moving family drama elder daughter celebrated her wedding. The yard is tended by the man of the family from season to season: he plants and prunes, rakes and tidies, and the moving and painful stories of adolescent family members were focused here. They leave it and always long to return to it. Every image in this moving play is devoted to one of the family’s children, while the parents listen, argue, attempt to instill values and educate. But there is always some unexpected phone call and one of the family’s members is in trouble and in need of sympathy.
A moving, humanistic play that is easy to identify with, about the struggle to maintain family stability in an ever-changing world.
