Names and Souls: A Lecture by Hilel Yagel
A Special Meeting
A Special Meeting
Can we identify a connection between the names of literary protagonists or titles of works of literature and culture, and the messages, worldviews, and ideas held by their creators? In the meeting, we will examine how the artistic tool of name analysis reshapes the reading experience and connects it, regardless of place, language, and time, to the creative roots of both the writer and the reader.
Hillel Yagel holds a master's degree in literature and has been a lecturer on literature in various settings for thirty years. A member of the teaching staff at the Levinsky College of Education for the past eighteen years, Hilel Yagel is also an active musician and entrepreneur in various cultural fields.
