God cannot be everywhere, so he created the Jewish mother…
In 1963, Esther gave birth to Roland, the youngest son in a large French-Jewish family. Roland was born with a foot defect that prevented him from standing. Defying everyone's expectations, Esther promises her son that he will one day walk and live a full, extraordinary life. From that moment on, she devotes herself entirely to keeping that promise.
Based on a true story spanning decades of hardship, miracles, and faith in Tzadikkim, this is a tale of incredible destiny—and of the greatest love of all: a mother's love for her son.
A major French hit, replete with laughter and tears.
