Love, Connection and Communication

The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra

And on the Sixth Day...

Roni Porat (conductor and narrator), soprano Keren Hadar and tenor Nimrod Grinboim, in a concert examining different aspects of love, connection and interpersonal communication in music and life.

The season opens with the masterpiece Romeo and Juliet by Tchaikovsky, which is actually "descriptive" program music, continuing through the Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola and Orchestra by Mozart, in which an actual instrumental "love story" takes place in an absolute musical language, and culminating in Bernstein's songs and duets, all about love relationships and interpersonal communication.
