A couple of pensioners find it hard to deal with the cost of living, the housing crisis, and their divorced daughter, who, due to financial problems, returns to live with them. The mannerism, the customs, the old-time superstitions, the rabbi who comes to give a blessing against the evil eye only to make things worse.
