After his wife dies, Germain, a 75-year-old introverted retiree, keeps thinking about his beloved wife and his promise to her on her deathbed. Surprisingly, he becomes part of a modern dance troupe's performance, realizing and proving to others that it is never too late to devour life.

10:30 A solo dance performance: Principium
Daniel Alexandru Dragomir -Romania
Performer: George Alexandru Plesca
"Principium" is built on the contrast between two elements that, through their interaction, create life. The conflict represents action through which the two come to coexist in harmony: Mind-Body, Earth-Heaven, Woman-Man. "Principium", which means the beginning, is represented by the body of a man in dialogue with the female voice, which acts as a guide.
The moment is part of the piece “Nihil Sine Deo”, which is a physical representation of the process of searching, understanding, and comprehending the Absolute Divinity. This process is a continuous but fluctuating one, and it leads to a moment of exhaustion. This moment is the only one in which we can recognize the Divinity that we believe in, and is a moment of sincerity in which we can recognize what can only be defined by emotion at an individual level.
