Built around twenty-five of the late Zvika Pick's greatest hits, the musical takes place in Israel in the seventies and spans an entire decade. It centers around a love story between three young people in an Israeli coastal town. Gabriel is torn between his love for lively Mary Lou, who dreams of becoming a star, and Ella, his devoted girlfriend. All three characters appear in Pick's well-known songs: "Mary Lou," "Ella Cinderella," "Gabriel," "I love you, Leah," "Love at the End of the Summer," and many more. The entertaining love story portrays familiar Israeli scenes embedded in rhythmic songs with new, surprising contexts.
