Attorney Caspar Leinen is set to defend Fabrizio Collini, an elderly man that committed murder. Collini admits to the crime, but refuses to disclose his motive. Leinen sets out to unveil the connection between Collini and his victim, and reveal a series of conspiracies going back to WWII.
