In the Tunnel

Gesher Theatre

A dynamic and witty satire based on the movie No Man's Land (2001), winner of the Oscar Award for Best Foreign Language Film, which won viewers' hearts as a moving anti-war story.

"In life, I have been taught that there is light at the end of the tunnel. But this tunnel, if there is light at the end - cock your weapon." The location of the event - a terror tunnel on the Gaza-Israel border. On the Israeli side, Tzlil and Yiftach enter and Hisham and Mansour enter from the Gaza side. Now they are there together. One of them will become "a live landmine" while above them, in the world above ground, the media-political carnival goes ahead, and plays with their lives.

An insightful, creative and witty political satire, which confronts the world of the media with the world's lack of communication. And reminds us that the public's elected leaders sometimes choose to work hand in hand, at the expense of their voters.
